We at EmBARK are fully aware that many dogs want to visit our shop but may struggle with anxiety, reactivity, or other issues that make enjoying public spaces difficult. We want to provide a safe space for such dogs to be able to have an enriching experience with as little stress as possible. As such, Thursdays at EmBARK will be reserved for dogs that need a fear-free shopping environment (general appointments are also accepted, but priority given to fear-free dogs).

Booking an appointment ensures that you and your pup(s) will be the only customers in the shop and no other humans (besides the shopkeeper) or dogs will be allowed in during your visit. You get the whole place to yourself!

Appointments must be booked 24 hours in advance. While there is no cancellation fee, it is strongly requested that you provide at least a 1 hour notice if you need to cancel or modify your visit. Please call (937) 234-7860 or message [email protected] for any changes.
